ArchLinux - System bleibt hängen und reagiert nicht mehr

Ich habe seit mehreren Wochen Probleme mit einem bestimmten Laptop. Ein anderes mit dem gleichen Betriebssystem und den gleichen Updates läuft einwandfrei (daher denke ich, dass dies ein Hardwareproblem ist). Das System scheint zu hängen, wenn ich viel E / A-Arbeit erledige (wie das Kopieren einer Datei oder einer CPU-intensiven Aufgabe). Es scheint nicht wieder lebendig zu werden, wenn ich den Computer nicht neu starte. Ich dachte ursprünglich, es handele sich um ein Problem mit Firefox oder Chrom und dann mit dem Flashplayer. Sobald ich Firefox oder Chrom getötet hatte, reagierte mein Computer wieder, aber irgendwann reagierte er wieder nicht mehr.

Es sieht so aus, als hätte ich vielleicht einen schlechten Speicher - auch meine Festplatte zeigt an, dass sie sich im Prefail-Status befindet. Ich weiß nicht, ob das dazu beitragen würde oder nicht (ich bezweifle es, da alle diese Programme bereits im Speicher sein sollten).

Ich habe einen Speichertest, memtest86, durchgeführt und dabei keine Fehler festgestellt. Ist mein Gedächtnis schlecht oder was ist hier noch los? Ich möchte wissen, was in meinem System kaputt ist und ob Sie Ideen zur Fehlerbehebung haben.

Es sieht so aus, als ob dies ein Fehler in gnome-session / gnome-shell ist, da ich Berichte über dieses Ereignis in Fedora kürzlich sowohl auf nvidia- als auch auf ati-Systemen gesehen habe. Es ist jedoch merkwürdig, dass dieses Problem gerade erst zum Zeitpunkt des 3.2-Upgrades aufgetreten ist und auf meinem anderen System, auf dem dieses Betriebssystem und diese Version ausgeführt werden, nicht mehr auftritt.
