Ich habe einen brandneuen, fabrikversiegelten HP Omen 15-ce084no- Laptop gekauft, der mit Windows 10 geliefert wurde. Er verfügt über eine 256-GB-SSD und eine mechanische 1-TB-Festplatte. Nachdem ich überprüft hatte, dass alles unter Windows funktioniert hatte, habe ich Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS mit Linux-Kernel 4.10 auf der SSD installiert und die mechanische Festplatte als Datenspeicher eingerichtet. Ich war froh (und überrascht), dass unter Ubuntu absolut alles funktioniert hat, einschließlich WLAN, Grafikkarte und Tastatursteuerung mit Hintergrundbeleuchtung. Nach der Installation der proprietären Treiber war mein Laptop einsatzbereit.
Als ich meine Sachen einrichtete, bemerkte ich jedoch, dass die 1-TB-Festplatte ungefähr jede Sekunde ein leises Klicken von sich gibt, während Ubuntu ausgeführt wird. Das hat es unter Windows 10 nicht getan, da bin ich mir ziemlich sicher, und es funktioniert beispielsweise nicht, wenn auf die BIOS-Einstellungen zugegriffen wird. Es beginnt 30 Sekunden nach dem Booten von Ubuntu zu klicken und Sie müssen nicht als Benutzer angemeldet sein. Es klickt auch während auf dem lightdm Login - Bildschirm oder während Ctrl+ Alt+ F1auf einem Terminal.
Ich googelte ein bisschen und fand unter Linux viele ähnliche Klick-Fälle heraus, deren Lösungen sich um Probleme mit dem Parken des Kopfes und dem Energiesparen drehten, wie z. B. das Ändern der hdparm
Einstellungen. Keiner von ihnen funktionierte auf meinem Laptop und das Klicken geht weiter. Ich lief smartctl -a
auf der Festplatte und bemerkte ungewöhnliche Werte für eine vermeintlich neue Festplatte (Power-Off_Retract_Count = 524296). Außerdem ist das Klickgeräusch, obwohl es leise ist, sehr ärgerlich und ich kann es nicht aushalten, auch wenn es nicht gefährlich für die Festplatte wäre.
Könnte jemand die Berichte unten sehen und diese Fragen für mich beantworten:
- Wie sind diese Werte auf einer neuen Festplatte möglich?
- Ist die Festplatte defekt und muss sie ersetzt werden?
- Könnte Ubuntu / Linux es verursacht und die Festplatte so schnell zerstört haben (in ca. 31 Stunden Laufzeit)?
Wenn die Ursache Ubuntu / Linux ist, gibt es eine Softwarelösung für das Problem, die nicht auf diesen Links vorgeschlagen wurde. Keine dieser Lösungen funktioniert:
