Wie kann ich vim dazu bringen, Zauberdateien herunterzuladen?

Beim spelllangerstmaligen Einstellen wurde ich aufgefordert, die entsprechende Zauberdatei automatisch herunterzuladen. Irgendwie habe ich den Vorgang wegen unklarer Anweisungen abgebrochen, als er mich fragte, in welches Verzeichnis er gehen soll.

Nun, wenn ich :set spelllanges nur sage Warning: Cannot find word list... aber nicht anbiete, es herunterzuladen.

Wie kann ich den Prozess neu starten?

In der Hilfe heißt es:

The plugin has a default place where to look for spell files, on the Vim ftp
server.  If you want to use another location or another protocol, set the
g:spellfile_URL variable to the directory that holds the spell files.  The
netrw plugin is used for getting the file, look there for the specific
syntax of the URL.  Example: 
    let g:spellfile_URL = 'http://ftp.vim.org/vim/runtime/spell'
You may need to escape special characters.

The plugin will only ask about downloading a language once.  If you want to
try again anyway restart Vim, or set g:spellfile_URL to another value (e.g.,
prepend a space).

Die Dokumentation hat mir nicht weitergeholfen, denn wenn ich die Anweisungen für den Fall befolge, dass kein Plugin verwendet wird, nämlich den Autobefehl hinzufüge autocmd SpellFileMissing * call Download_spell_file(expand('<amatch>'))und :set spelles dann zu einem Fehler kommt, der die Funktion nicht kennt Download_spell_file. Bin ich der Einzige?

Ich verstehe die Frage anders: Wenn ich "Nein" zu "Soll ich versuchen, sie herunterzuladen [die Zauberdatei]?" Frage, die Möglichkeit zum Download bietet sich nicht wieder an.

Ich habe es durch Löschen ~/.viminfoumgangen - das ist zwar nicht der beste Weg, aber es beantwortet die Frage (zumindest für meine Interpretation).
