Ich würde gerne in der Lage sein, Emoji-Zeichen in Mutt richtig zu sehen, aber z. B. wird 💗 in Mutt's Pager als ^ J angezeigt. Laufen

Beim erneuten Öffnen der Nachricht wird das Zeichen mit vim korrekt angezeigt.
Die betreffende E-Mail ist PGP-verschlüsselt, aber ich denke, ich würde dasselbe mit unverschlüsselter E-Mail erhalten ( https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/comp.mail.mutt/50_MpyYkXR4 ).
Ich habe auch diesen Beitrag gefunden ( /programming/23526353/how-to-get-ncurses-to-output-astral-plane-unicode-characters ), der ein mögliches Problem erklärt, auf das ich stoße. aber wie gesagt vim zeigt die zeichen gut im selben terminalfenster an. Außerdem verwende ich glibc 2.19 und sehe nicht, wie diese beiden Anwendungen unterschiedliche glibc-Versionen auf demselben System verwenden könnten.
Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, den integrierten Pager von Mutt dazu zu bringen, diese korrekt anzuzeigen?
EDIT: Also habe ich vergessen, irgendetwas anderes als 'mutt' und 'vim' aufzunehmen ... Ich verwende Debian Stable mit dem mutt-gepatchten Paket.

Ich hatte erwartet, dass die unformatierte E-Mail base64-codiert ist (da beide Konten Google Mail sind und die Nachricht Nicht-ASCII-Zeichen enthält), aber es ist dasselbe. Es scheint auch, dass keine Charaktere während des Transports verletzt wurden.
