Was ist ein Apt-Datei-Update?

Ich habe diese Anweisungen befolgt und apt-filezusammen mit einigen anderen Paketen Folgendes installiert :

sudo apt-get install gnupg pbuilder ubuntu-dev-tools bzr-builddeb apt-file

Und jedes Mal, wenn ich meinen Computer starte, erhalte ich diesen Hinweis:

Also ging ich endlich ins Terminal und tippte den Befehl:

apt-file update

So sehe ich, dass es heißt:

Was genau ist das apt-file? Und was bedeutet es, dass es jetzt das Cache-Verzeichnis des Benutzers verwendet? Ist das eine gute Sache? Was ist der Unterschied zwischen dem Cache-Verzeichnis des Benutzers und dem systemweiten Cache-Verzeichnis und welches sollte ich verwenden? Beeinflusst dies in irgendeiner Weise meine apt-getQuellen?

apt-filewird verwendet, um zu suchen, welches Paket eine Datei bereitstellt. Betrachten Sie es als die Offline- und etwas eingeschränkte Version von http://packages.ubuntu.com .
Da hast du apt-file updateohne verwendetsudo , kann (normalerweise /var/cache/apt/apt-file) kein systemweites Verzeichnis verwendet werden. Stattdessen wird ein Verzeichnis in Ihrem Heimverzeichnis ( ~/.cache/apt-file) verwendet.
Suchen durch andere Benutzer können den Cache Ihres Benutzers nicht verwenden.
