Die Vorteile von statsd?

Also habe ich in den letzten Tagen mit Graphit herumgespielt und ich kann das Potenzial dort erkennen und warum es so mächtig ist.

Meine Hauptfrage ist, warum ich statsd davor verwenden sollte, wie es esty und so viele andere Leute tun? Ab sofort sehe ich keinen großen Vorteil darin, einen weiteren Stapel vor Graphit zu legen.

Mein Take-Away ist also, Systemstatistiken wie freien Speicher / Speicherplatz / Benutzer, die direkt bei Graphite angemeldet sind, zu senden und App-Statistiken zu senden, als ob sich ein Benutzer bei statsd angemeldet hätte und statsd seine Magie tun lässt, um nette Daten für Graphit zu generieren
