Der SSDT-Schemavergleich schlägt fehl, wenn mein DB-Projekt mit meinem Azure Server verglichen wird

Ich habe ein SQL-Datenbankprojekt, auf dem ich unsere Unternehmensdatenbank aufgebaut habe. Es wurde mehrmals auf internen und von AWS gehosteten SQL-Servern mit dem Schema Compare-Tool von SSDT bereitgestellt.

Das Problem beim Posten auf Azure Hosted Win 2012 Server mit SQL Ent 2012 sp2. Der Vergleich ist abgeschlossen. Es wurden keine Unterschiede festgestellt.

Ich weiß, dass dies falsch ist, da ich Enterprise Manager öffnen und das Schema mit dem SQL-Projekt vergleichen kann und feststelle, dass ein Unterschied besteht.

Ich habe mehrere Artikel gefunden, in denen es darum ging, wie die Veröffentlichung von 2014 das Tool kaputt gemacht hat, aber das waren Versionsunterschiede.

Andere Dinge, die ich überprüft habe, umfassen, sicherzustellen, dass mein DB-Konto uneingeschränkten Zugriff hat. Ich kann mich mit der Management Konsole verbinden. Ich kann mich mit lokalen Programmen verbinden.

Letzte Bestätigung, dass ein Problem aufgetreten ist:

  1. Ich habe einen SP erstellt, der eine einzelne Rückgabe der Nummer 1 aufweist.
    1. Es könnte zu Testzwecken eine Rückkehr von nichts geben.
  2. Nachdem ich den SP erstellt hatte, führte ich einen Schema-Vergleich für alle meine Instanzen durch und alle außer dem Azure-Server zeigten die Abweichungen an.

Aktualisieren

Ich habe überprüft, dass dies explizit mit dem Server zusammenhängt, indem jetzt zwei verschiedene Benutzer auf zwei verschiedenen Computern dasselbe exakte Problem haben.

TL; DR

Die Abfrage, die Visual Studio ausführt, wird blockiert und die Abfrage läuft ab.


Es stellte sich heraus, dass ich es geschafft habe, dies für unsere Situation herauszufinden: Zeitüberschreitung aufgrund von Blockierung!

Ich habe einen Profiler-Trace mit einem Filter für den Anwendungsnamen der Microsoft SQL Server-Datentools (Schema Compare) ausgeführt , um die Visual Studio- Schema-Vergleichsereignisse zu erfassen.

Es würde eine bestimmte Abfrage erreichen und dann aufhören, wenn VS behaupten würde, der Vergleich sei abgeschlossen.

Das Ausführen der Abfrage in SSMS würde die Ausführung auf dem betreffenden Server niemals beenden, in jeder anderen Umgebung jedoch weniger als eine Sekunde dauern.

Also habe ich angefangen, es auseinander zu ziehen und festgestellt, dass die Abfragen, die aus den folgenden 3 Systemansichten gelesen werden, das Problem waren:

  • sys.server_event_session_actions
  • sys.server_event_session_events
  • sys.server_event_session_fields

Die erste dieser Systemansichten enthielt nur 28 Datensätze (gefunden durch Ausführen von a Count(*)), gab aber die Daten nur zurück, wenn ich den (NOLOCK)Hinweis verwendet habe ... [b] Sperrproblem !

Den Kopf der Blockierungskette herauszufinden war einfach genug, aber nicht tötbar, da es sich um eine Extended Events-Sitzung handelte. Hier gibt es eine Lösung für dieses Problem: https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/2511963

Aber hoffentlich können Sie in Ihrem Fall einfach den Kopf der Kette schön abschlagen und die Dinge wieder normal machen!


BEARBEITEN: Nachdem nun ein funktionsfähiges Wartungsfenster für den betroffenen SQL Server vorhanden war, hat ein Neustart die SPID gelöscht und jetzt funktionieren die Vergleiche wieder!

Das Schließen von Visual Studio, SSMS und das Stoppen und Neustarten des SQL Server-Dienstes über die Systemsteuerung der Windows-Dienste hat bei mir funktioniert - vorhandene Sitzungen, die dieses Problem verursachen, müssen abgebrochen worden sein.
